GTR Global Conference 2023 | JT International
Our team designed and delivered the GTR Global Conference 2023 for JT International (JTI), bringing together 170 members of the Global Travel Retail Department from five continents for the department’s first in-person global meeting in six years.
Held in May 2023 across Athens and the island of Aegina, the event combined strategic business sessions with immersive cultural experiences, set against the backdrop of the Athenian Riviera and multiple premium venues.
One of the key challenges was the simultaneous planning and execution of more than 16 events within 4 days, across over 16 different venues in Athens and Aegina. The program required meticulous logistics planning, multi-location coordination, and seamless guest experience management for an international audience.
The conference program blended over fifteen hours of collaborative work sessions with a rich social agenda designed to showcase Greek culture and hospitality. Attendees participated in curated experiences including themed parties, a scenic cruise, and interactive cultural activities, creating a balanced program of business engagement and destination storytelling.
Through precise event design, production management, and complex operational coordination, Purple Events delivered a large-scale international corporate gathering that combined productivity, cultural immersion, and high-level hospitality.
