DESFA - Visit of U.S. Secretary Doug Burgum to The Revithoussa Facilities
Purple successfully delivered a high-profile event of strong symbolic significance on the occasion of the visit of U.S. Secretary of the Interior and Chairman of the National Energy Dominance Council, Mr. Doug Burgum, to DESFA’s LNG Terminal in Agia Triada.
The uniqueness of the venue, combined with strict security requirements, created a complex logistical challenge, as the event unfolded both at sea and across the onshore facilities. The program began aboard a vessel en route to Revithoussa, where guests participated in an extensive tour around the island. During the visit, Mr. Burgum was guided through the Control Room and had the opportunity to experience first-hand the strategic infrastructure and storage tanks that position Revithoussa as a key energy hub.
DESFA’s management hosted an official dinner for the U.S. delegation on board the vessel, while a full buffet service was simultaneously arranged for media representatives and invited guests. The visit concluded at the Agia Triada facilities, where official media statements were delivered in a specially designed outdoor setting under an impressive tent installation.
