European Organ Donation Day
The Organoulides in Kalamata
On the occasion of European Organ Donation Day 2025, Purple Events, in collaboration with the Onassis Foundationand the Hellenic Transplant Organization, designed and delivered a three-day awareness event in Kalamata (9–11 October 2025), centered on education, prevention, and community engagement.
The program featured Organoulides, an educational initiative for children promoting healthy living and awareness about organ donation. Activities took place at the 1st Primary School of Kalamata and concluded with public activations at the city’s Central Square.
At the school, specialists introduced students to the basics of human organs and transplantation through age-appropriate, interactive learning sessions, aiming to foster early awareness and social responsibility.
In the Central Square, a custom-designed themed booth inspired by Organoulides offered an engaging experience for children and families. The space included branded visuals, interactive games, educational materials, and mascot appearances, creating a friendly environment that combined information with entertainment.
Purple Events was responsible for the full concept development, booth design and production, on-site coordination, promotional staffing, and overall execution of the activation. The program also included public information sessions and expert talks on organ transplantation for adult visitors, supported by representatives of the Hellenic Transplant Organization.
The event successfully highlighted the importance of organ donation awareness through a modern, well-structured experiential event format.
